LAR Acupuncture and Wellbeing is committed to making our website, www.acupuncture-room.co.uk, accessible and welcoming to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want all visitors to be able to find information about our practice and treatments, and to get in touch with us, regardless of how they access the internet.

1. Our commitment

We aim for this website to be as accessible as possible, in line with recognised good practice for web accessibility, including the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

This includes aiming for:

  • Clear, readable text with good colour contrast

  • Text that can be resized in your browser without loss of content or function

  • Pages that can be navigated using a keyboard

  • Images with descriptive alternative text where appropriate

  • A simple, consistent layout across all pages

2. The platform we use

This website is built using Wix, a website building platform. Wix includes a number of built in accessibility features, and Wix’s own accessibility statement and ongoing improvements also apply to this site. We aim to use Wix’s tools in a way that supports accessibility wherever possible.

3. Visiting the clinic

If you have any accessibility needs in relation to visiting LAR Acupuncture and Wellbeing in person, for example around mobility, parking, or the layout of the building, please get in touch before your appointment so we can do everything we can to make your visit comfortable.

4. If you have difficulty using this website

If you find any part of this website difficult to use, or if you use assistive technology and encounter any issues, please let us know. We take feedback seriously and will do our best to address any problems.

You can contact us by:

When contacting us, it may help to let us know which page you were on, what device and browser you were using, and what the issue was, but this is not essential, we are happy to help however we can.

5. Alternative ways to get in touch

If you would prefer not to use the website to get in touch or book an appointment, you are welcome to contact us directly by phone or email, and we will be glad to help.

6. Ongoing improvements

We see accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one off task. As the website develops, we will continue to look for ways to make it easier and more comfortable to use for everyone.
